I have been in the Real Estate business since 1991. During the last 3 years I have notice a significant shift in the business where leads are generated from. It used to be leads were obtained by print material, past clients and word of mouth. I began to see the shift of leads coming from the internet business. Just look at those companies on the internet capturing leads and selling those leads to agents in their market area. They are also on National TV doing the same thing, trying to get the leads before they go to a Real Estate Agent. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to have them capture the leads before you do!!

I bought my first web site in 2004 to try to catch up to the trend. This was a template web site from Advanced Access. Not really understanding how to use the web site and to market it properly I was not really reaching the potential of securing leads from the internet. I found Site Tutor last year in August of 2005. Site Tutor has made a significant difference in my Real Estate business. It used to be I would have to make phone calls to prospective clients to get leads. Something that every agent has difficulty in doing is making calls to get leads. Today my leads come from e-mails and direct phone calls. Yes Sellers contact me by e-mail or by calling me. Buyers do the same. My time now is just keeping up with the leads that come to me from the internet. I average about 3 to 5 leads a day.
